Wasn't it just the other day when we were all playing outside and enjoying the beautiful sunshine? Today we look outside and see snowcapped roofs across the neighborhood. It is freezing outside and I am trying to figure out how to explain to an 18 month old boy that just because we played outside yesterday doesn't mean that the weather is warm enough to go out today. Help!!!

I'm not sure how much reasoning you can do with a child his age. Sometimes I assume that my kids will not understand something so I don't even attempt to explain. But, I think that I have been wrong at times because kids know more than we think they do. I really don't know how to explain the weather well enough on a level that he would understand. My kids ask me science questions all the time and shamefully my answer is, "hmm, I don't really know." That is a perfect meaningful learning experience when we need to take a trip to the library and find out together. I feel like I am rambling now and don't remember what the question was.
My goodness! That second picture of Will looks JUST like Corey!!!
so cute! i feel your pain as we want to play with our newly acquired bubbles.
Those are adorable pictures! And I'm with you, Sara just stands at the door saying "side, side" and it hurts her feeling so bad when I have to tell her, no, not today, it's too cold. I am seriously ready for Spring!
I agree with Sunny on the 2nd picture. When I saw it just now I thought look at that little Corey. He is becoming the cutest lil man!!! The weather has been crazy around here too, but no snow capped houses!!
I understand where you're coming from!!! I'm counting down 'til March. March just sounds warmer and closer to Spring. I thought the same thing as Sunny and Tori...little Corey. :)
