Bye, Bye Curls!

I am really sad but I think it may be time for them to go... Corey has had about all that he can handle. He complains that not only do I dress Will in cute little smocked outfits with knee socks but I am also letting his hair grow out to look like a girls. When I got my hair done last week I was talking to my stylist about it and she urged me to take the plunge. When she heard that he was almost 18 months old and had never had a haircut she was convinced. You have to understand why I have waited so long. He did not have much or any hair for so long that I have really loved him having a little plus, I think longer hair on little boys is cute. His hair is starting to look a little frizzy at times and I am not always sure how to fix it so I guess it is time. What do you think? I made an appt. for tomorrow. Should they stay? Should they go??

I think you should do whatever makes you comfortable. My friend Kristy who has a son about will's age just got his hair cut for the first time. She was ready though and his hair was much longer but she still said it was sad. I think this is a mama decision and whatever you decide will be perfect ;)

I say do whatever you want but it would be cute to see what he looks like w/a little boy outfit! (Will I get bonus points from Corey for that one??? :) But hey...there are little boys at church w/ hair longer than Will's...so whatever you like!

Maybe if you're lucky when he's in the youth group this crazy shaggy long curly mophead hairstyle will be in style again.

Wait. No. That means Lawson will be doing it too!

Never mind!

I think that the curls are precious! You could always be like Kate Hudson. I once heard her say that she would let her son decide on his hair length. She has never cut it and now he refuses to loose his locks. To each his own...

Maybe you'll have a girl in May and the curls can stay forever!

I think the curls are cute, and I'm with you, I think little boys with longer hair are cute too! Just go with whatever you are comfortable with, if you're not sure you want to completely get rid of the curls, just get a little trim, that will at least help with the frizz and make it easier to fix!

Looks cute with curls but I think you would think a haircut looks cute, too...after getting it done. I always like it when Noah's is freshly cut...if the girl does a good job on it. (We cut his for the first time at like 8 months...he's got lots of thick hair.) He always looks older when he gets a haircut. You might not want that, though. Okay, I'm rambling. I guess I'm with everybody else...either way is cute...whatever you like...you're the mommy. :)
